"What Shall I Do?"
Looking back, it was amazing how my brain processed the whole incident. Even though I had repeated my statement numerous times to the police, family, and friends, it was as if I was telling a story about someone else.
Becky Erkkila is courageously sharing her story to enlighten others about the domestic violence victim mentality. Through her challenging experiences, she has come to realize that whatever situation we are in, the vital point is to perceive what would be the best thing for us to do at the time. Whether you are trying to discern the truth about your present situation, seeking confidence for yourself to go forward with a decision, frantically struggling to defend yourself, or convincing yourself that you are of some value, what you need most is a clear answer to "What shall I do?" I pray reading this book will bring light to your "What shall I do?"

This book is an inspiration to anyone trapped in a domestic violence partnership. A very spiritual take on how to overcome trials that seem to much to handle and how to thrive after those trials. Highly highly recommend!

I picked up this book and I couldn't put it down. Read the whole thing in one day. If you or someone you love has ever gone through any kind of abusive experience, this is extremely relatable. Or it could be a cautionary tale if you're still in it. The insight from beginning to end of the story and her gentle reflections along the way are extremely helpful to those dealing with the aftermath of DV or SA. I would highly recommend for anyone who is seeking out hope to get a copy of this book! Thank you Becky for having the strength and courage to be so vulnerable and open with your experiences and I truly hope it will help more and more people the more you and others speak out! ❤️

This book is a powerful example of how to overcome toxic relationships of all kinds! Becky is real, raw, and honest throughout this book and provides so much validation, support, and guidance for fellow trauma survivors. I was glued to the pages and read the whole book in one sitting! I appreciated how Becky shared about her Christian faith and how much it helped her get through some very dark times. Many survivors struggle a lot with their spirituality during and after toxic relationships, and Becky courageously shows us how even during dark times, your faith can get you through and help you never lose hope in yourself and your ability to heal!
